About Matt Williamson

Mr. Williamson has 35 years of business experience, mostly as CEO and Chairman, in investing in private and public companies as well as institutional size Real Estate. He is a speaker at Private Equity and Real Estate conferences, and is a member of the Forbes Business Council. 

He has won numerous industry awards for his work and contributions in the industry, including "Best workplace of the year - best and brightest companies" from EMG Publishing. He is a member of the "Global 100" with the award "Best Middle Market Acquiror."

Mr. Williamson has a Degree in Urban and Regional Economic Development, and a Masters in Mathematics of Finance from Columbia University, New York. 

His wife, Ann Williamson, has an MBA from London Business School (LBS), and graduate and undergraduate degrees from Oxford, UK, Georgetown, and the Sorbonne. She is retired and her career includes Mergers & Acquisitions in the top 10 in the U.S. in deal volume, private equity, and investing in companies and institutional size real estate. She is an accomplished equestrian and passed equestrian tests to become an honorary member of the light cavalry of the Queen, at Windsor, UK. She focuses on the role of the Matriarch in creating the culture and knowledge of the family. 

Together they have three children. They support causes and charities including those which work for ecological restoration and those which support young entrepreurs.
